Creating Value from the World’s Plastic Waste – CRDC Victoria RESIN8™

The Australia and New Zealand Recycling Platform (ANZRP) has partnered with CRDC Circular Solutions (Australia) to enhance the circular economy of plastic derived from e-waste recycling.

CRDC aims to add value to hard-to-recycle plastic waste, driven by the vision of maximizing the potential of regenerative design.

Their joint venture, CRDC Victoria, has established a facility in Melbourne utilising the RESIN8™ manufacturing process, marking the fourth of its kind worldwide and the first in the Asia-Pacific region.

Approximately 25% of materials in TVs, computer equipment, and printers are plastic, which is often challenging to recycle and can end up in landfills.

ANZRP collects around 5,000 tonnes of plastic from e-waste each year, and CRDC Victoria is now effectively converting some of this plastic into RESIN8.
